I thought I would get a little personal with you today, for no reason really, just because. Spring is coming and it’s a time of feeling frisky and fun and I just want you to know me a little better. I notice there a some things about me, that you would never know unless you asked. So instead of asking, I have taken it upon myself to share some of the little quirks that make me, me!
So there it goes, my quirks in no particular order.
1. I have a crazy fixation with butterflies, I have over 100 collected versions of butterflies in different forms all over my home. Pillows, art, magnets, pencils you name it. I promise they are not tacky.
2. I hiccup at least once a day, usually mid afternoon (yes that’s right just one hiccup).
3. I get really excited whenever I hear 80’s music. It puts me in the best mood. Some top faves are Phil Collins and Peter Gabriel. “In your eyes”, “Salsberry Hill”, “In the Air Tonight” and so many more!
4. My hair is curly. Not just curly, we are talking ringlets. Curly-Sue styles. Have you seen them? I straighten them out because I can’t seem to manage them. But they do come out every once in a while 🙂
5. Sometimes, just sometimes I coordinate the colour of my underwear with my clothes for the day. Shhh!!
6. When I am eating, I like to put all the items on my plate on my fork before I take a bite. What this means is I like layers, whether it’s in a nori roll, on top of pancakes. the more variety and different things for me to eat in one bite, the better!
7. I go back and forth between sweet and savoury throughout the day. I will not eat two sweet things in a row, needs to be followed by savoury. Always.
8. I look at pictures of puppies in my spare time, as I am dreaming of the day that I will get a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever.
9. I do not have a green thumb. Leave any plant to me and it will die. I know what to do with plants and how to eat them very well, I just can’t care for them.
10. I have a crazy memory. Will remember details of when, where, and what I was wearing for random different memories. It’s kind of creepy.
Bonus! My right thumb gets locked and I have to un-crack it several times a day. So annoying.
