I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to the newest members to my Food Studio family, Erika and Ellen.
With Ellen’s organization skills and Erika’s energy, along with their passion for good food and nourishment, we make a thriving team. Their strengths and talents compliment each other and are a perfect fit for the Food Studio and for me.
Most importantly, we are all dedicated to being a part of something much bigger than ourselves.
Not only do we have the best time eating good food, creating new ideas, harvesting herbs and taking delicious pictures, but also we are all on a mission to nourish your life!
I can’t wait for you to get to know them personally the next time you visit the Studio. In the meantime, here is a little introduction.
I am proud to call these gals my teammates, but most of all my friends!
Meet Ellen!

Day Job: Customer Relations for Marni Wasserman’s Food Studio and part-time student at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition
Daily Uniform: I’m quite fond of cream-coloured lace
The taste I couldn’t live without: Lately it’s been dehydrated bananas with lime juice, nori, pickled beets, carrot juice…
Most incredible dinner out: The fabulous dinner parties I have with friends
I’m dying to go to: Vancouver, BC to see my best friend!
If I could cook for anyone: Anyone who thinks it’s too difficult or time-consuming to prepare food from scratch – I want to show ’em the ropes!
My mother taught me: Selflessness
Favourite Recipe: My vegan mac ‘n cheese is pretty legendary. I’ve fooled a couple of people…
My Motto: I recently came across a quote I really like, “If you want to be sad live in the past. If you want to be anxious live in the future. If you want to be peaceful live in the now.” – Karen Salmansohn
Meet Erika!
Name: Erika Paige

Most incredible dinner out: Does a picnic in the Amazon Rainforest count as dinner out?
I’m dying to go to: India
If I could cook for anyone: Diane Keaton, while wearing a black vest, tie and oversized khaki pants. Maybe a black bowler hat too.
