Your White Hot Chocolate Elixir To the Rescue

White Hot Chocolate
Growing up I used to love to drinking something called a “vanilla steamer” at my local coffee shop. This was none other than milk steamed with vanilla syrup and lots of sugar. Don’t get me wrong, it was delicious and just to make it healthy I added some cinnamon on top – perfection.

It was this calm, cozy drink that I could rely on when I went out with my friends. The days of consuming milk and refined sugar are long gone, so something needed to take it’s place. In comes my White Hot Chocolate Elixir creation.

Now that the fall season is back, so is my elixir kick. I am all for experimenting with new combinations to make the perefect morning or afternoon beverage. Most of which have a base of dark chocolate – which will never tire itself. However last week I was craving something different, figured why not try and emulate my favourite “white steamy” beverage but upgrade it to a white hot chocolate. Now I got your attention!

Took all my favourite “white” creamy ingredients and just played in the kitchen and this is what I came up with:

White Chocolate Elixir

2 – 2 ½ cups warm/hot water (not boiling)

2 tbsp raw cacao butter

¼ cup cashews

½ tsp vanilla

1 tbsp coconut oil

2 tbsp honey

¼ tsp cinnamon

Place all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until well combined.
